The last time I flashed my computer, it stuck it's tongue out at me, started smoking and died!

BTW I finally added myself to the map.
You can't see the true desert or real history from a paved road!

If you believe a politician has the answer, it must have been a dumb question!

Okay, what's a Winnemucca and can you get shots for it?
If Winnemucca is moving closer to people, is there any danger it might get to Oz soon?

(I used to think the Pacific was a big barrier, but look what happens when technology goes global! We handled "boat people" ok, but are we prepared for a spiedie invasion?)

A Nevada small city named for an Indian the whites called "One moccosin." Walking around the Great Basin with one shoe missing might have required a tetinus shot, but I don't think they were available in 1868 ... :lol:

No. American's seem to avoid Winnemucca, but I like it. Nice and remote, but big enough for a Super WalMart. My wife likes that very much ... :P

Yeah, just yanking your chain, David. It does look like a nice, peaceful place. I was "travelling through" the area just a day or so ago, following the saga of the Donner Party. It's amazing to think what those people experienced/endured. That Humbolt River area was most definitely not a highlight for them. Just ask John Snyder!
"Meeting the natives" at Unionville would have put a cramp on things!
I'm really looking forward to exploring the area myself - Midas/Tuscarora and, of course, ho! for Jarbidge!
Good camping sites in the area??

Nancy - you've met my 2 girls!!!
My wife is not too bad, she can keep things down to a dull roar, but the young lassie is a terror! She has a T-shirt we had made for her which says "Born to Shop" and another that says, "What do you mean I can't have it all?"
Runamucca indeed. Still, she was born in Bangkok, so..... what else could she do? :lol:
Boy, are they in for a shock when I head for The States! The plastic goes with me!

Just added myself to the map - awesome!

Anyone know how I can take a regualr photo (400x600) and make it smaller for Avatar size?? I want to put my Maryland PV license plate photo next to my name - the pic that I used for the map location.
