I just wanted to drop a note to the forum introducing myself to everyone. A few folks I know are already on the boards here and have finally convinced me to register and contribute, so here I am!

I've been trekking around the Southern CA Deserts for about 20 years, many of you have probably seen and met me and my old black Jeep bouncing around. This year I've upgraded to a new old black Jeep and I expect to spend at least another 20 years down here enjoying our Desert.

Welcome, DesertDad! Look forward to you sharing stories of your past 20 years of toolin' around the desert, in addition to the next 20!

Will you be out at PSR by chance for Thanksgiving? A whole bunch of us will be.

Yep, we'll be at PSR for dinner and in and around Panamint Valley all weekend. My Son has school on Wednesday, so we'll be getting there late that evening. This will be our 13th consecutive year in Panamint Valley for Thanksgiving.

It's Tradition!

Welcome to the forum. You mentioned you had a black jeep...
I was at PSR today and I saw a man with his son in an older black jeep there, and I was wondering if that was you?? I was in a white Expedition with government plates..

Nope, I'm still up here in Northern CA, I'm heading down Wednesday afternoon as soon as my Son clears school. We will see you for dinner on Thursday!
