I don't think any of us have heard from him for the last several years.

Re: Howdy and a question

Sounds like once again, the roads are taking a beating as we speak. Last report is the PV road is closed from Inyo county line, essentially to Hwy 190.

Hopefully, it wont be as bad as last year.

New Registration Process

Due to the very significant amount of spammers attempting to access the board, we've instituted new procedures to register to see the rest of the board, and to post. The test question is pretty simple, if you are a real person, and know even the least bit about Death Valley. If anyone that's legitim...

Re: Hello from Diamond Bar, CA

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll find us a friendly group. Please take the time to read the forum guidelines. We tend to avoid topics that will cause significant disagreements; there are plenty of other online forums for political and religious discussions. Regarding the bumper stickers. They we...

Re: This is a test

Oh good times! I was so worried all the history here would be lost forever. Maybe I'll reread the Indian Ranch thread again. Thank you so much for getting one of the best forums on the interwebs back up and going. Fortunately, the data was never in jeopardy. It was simply the access to the database...

Glad to see you're still kicking. I've enjoyed reading about your biking exploits. Wish I was that fit!

Re: Hey there from TN!

PSR runs about 10 degrees cooler than Furnace Creek, as a general rule. April is a very decent time of year. Hunter mountain / Racetrack / Lippincott is a nice loop. In April, you may find snow and mud on Hunter mountain - it varies each year. It's a long day, but doable. Titus Canyon could be done ...

Re: Hey there from TN!

Welcome! I hope the fires haven't impacted your area. When you have the chance, please read the forum rules in this section. We don't have many, other than be nice, and save the political and religious posts for some other forum. Early 2017, my son will still be out at PSR, so if you make it that wa...

Re: Greetings

Welcome! Please take a moment to read the guidelines in this section. We're a friendly group, but it's always best to stay away from religious and political topics. Plenty of forums for that. Here, we enjoy the desert, and sharing our experiences, despite religious and political views. We love to se...

Re: Another new guy

Welcome to pv.com, Pat. We would love to hear some of your stories, both recent as well as the past. I, too, grew up exploring Death and Panamint Valleys on Hondas, though little Trail 90s. Please take the opportunity to read the forum rules in this section. We're pretty open for discussions, but po...
