Newby checkin in

Post by Clodhopper »

Been hanging around here in the desert since 1975 (hiking, backpacking, 4 wheeling, dirt biking, etc.) but just found out about this forum the other day. Was at PSR and someone told me to check this place out. Nice! Looks like a good bunch of people to fraternize with so here I am. Currently, I am wheeling with the Gear Grinders (a good bunch) and learning more about this great desert daily. Looking forward to more adventures in the backcountry and meeting more of you.

Welcome! Glad you found us. We are a pretty good bunch, but do take the time to read our few rules. Mostly, we try to avoid political and religious discussions, since no one ever convinces the other to change their minds, and we'd rather talk about the desert.

Gear Grinders, eh? I'm a member there too. Just don't believe anything that Rubiblue says!

Glad to have you. Gear Grinders has a great reputation here. We are a quirky bunch, but we do know about the PV area and think we know about everything else.

Norman might be quirky but I'm completely normal. Welcome to the board. Watch out you don't bump your head in here. The ceiling has been caving in for a while now.
