Do you smell Garlic?

Post by RosemaryR »

That might be because I'm your newest board member and I'm from Gilroy, the Garlic Capital of the World.

Hello, all. I'm a photographer, adventurer and lover of life. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, been living in Gilroy for 16 years. My hubby and I love Death Valley and make several trips each year. The next one will be for the Christmas week 2010.

Got questions but I'll put them on the trip forum part of the board. Just wanted to say hello. I'll be posting some photos from my trip last year soon.

You betcha they make Garlic Ice Cream. It tastes a lot like vanilla ice cream with garlic added. The aftertaste is .... um..... interesting.

You can say that again. I had it for the first time earlier this year whilst driving through and the flavor is certainly memorable.

I'd probably like it. Doesn't sound much more odd then bacon ice cream and that is ok.

Not much to offer these days since I'm cleaning out the flickr (photo site) because of high pricing.
