My name is Jerry. I have been going to Panamint Valley since the mid 1960's. Started out in a VW bug now drive a Jeep Cherokee. I have done most of the trails but seem to find something new every time we go.
Look forward to reading the posts.

Welcome Jerry. I, too, have an XJ, and it's well suited for exploring in the area. What year is yours, and how is it built? If you really want to come over to the dark side of XJs, check out http://www.naxja.org. Great national club, with a ton of information in the forum.

Please read the forum guidelines in this topic. You'll find us a generally friendly group, but it is best to avoid the political and/or religious stuff, since it's unlikely anything people say will sway someone else. Much easier to focus on the things we enjoy, namely the desert and exploring.

If you have pictures, or trip reports, we always appreciate seeing them.

I thought any discussion of Jeep vs. Toyota was religious ...

My XJ is a 1991 4" RE lift on 31x10:50 BFG all terrain 4.0 w/auto. This jeep does everything I want to do.
We are going out to Panamint for a week starting 04/15/15.
