Welcome to the forum! We recently spent a week in Bishop as a base for revisiting some of the back roads near Bishop. We were able to locate the "Sky Rock" petroglyph panel during this visit.

I've been fortunate to have been able to live in the Bishop area most of my life, and raise my kids here as well.the only place I love more than the owens Valley is panamint valley.my family has had mining claims there since the early 1950's.my dad was the last one to work there, but him and his partners are way past retirement.(i now hold the claims) i remember spending every summer up there as a kid,it was so quiet at night it almost hurt your ears.that was back when there was at most maybe 3-4 cars driving through panamint in a 24 hour period.alot has changed since then

Have you also visited the 13 moons petroglyph panel? That's a very nice one as well.
