Look at the last section for both pages. Photos and info isn't current, but generally how one finds the road.

Yeah, I screwed the whole thing up with regards to looking up info in advance. Looked at my printed maps and thought to try the run at the last minute, but I was in DV and didn't have the bandwidth to start pulling up pages so I just threw a quick request on here.

Westside Road was re-opened on Aug 11th.

Badwater was fully repaired and declared OPEN on July 22nd.

Good to know. I should have checked the board before that last trip when I rolled through Shoshone at o dark thirty on way to Butte Valley and road was closed due to flooding. I had to backtrack through Baker then back up 395 to DV.

Didn't see it mentioned here, but Trona-Wildrose Road is being repaved as we speak. Work will last until mid november or so.

A couple of friends rode up it the other day, the road is the same as always.

Anyone been up Goler/Mengel lately? Some acquaintances are planning on going up from the west side, but have never been before. They have stock 4runners (early 2000s would be my guess) on 33s, no lockers, etc.

It's as easy as it gets right now. Unstacking Mengel would make it easier both directions.

Sounds like she handled the situation quite well. Helps being prepared, so thumbs up to her.

Going to be in DV next week and was hoping to exit from Saline Valley via the South Pass but that's not looking so smart -- http://forum.salinepreservation.org/pos ... ?&trail=75
