Hello from So Cal

Post by Havoc »

Hey guys,
been lurking on this board and the various DV boards for quite some time.
Love this board for all of the friendly and cool people posting awesome trip reports.

A little about me, been exploring DV even before it became a NP and favorite areas include PV and Saline valleys and all the various nooks and crannies. Love the desert!

I also backpack in the sierras at least 3 long trips a year and just love getting away from it all.

Have 2 trusty toyota 4x4's for exploring:
2000 Tacoma 4x4 x-cab TRD and a
1989 extra-cab v6 built to the hilt (sas, marlin crawler etc.) for the harder stuff or when they reopen Surprise Canyon :)

Look foward to exchanging ideas and sharing stories.
Cheers,
Havoc

Time to create some Havoc at the Fall Haul, hope you can make it. And Welcome to the board, it is a great place to hang out. A lot of knowledge here.

Welcome to the board, Havoc. I'm glad you entered a post here in the guest book!

I think you'll find the folks on this board are friendly, and very knowledgeable about the entire DV area. Some of us are local to the area, and others of us are stuck all the way across the country! Regardless, we all love the desert!

Not much to offer these days since I'm cleaning out the flickr (photo site) because of high pricing.
Older Fling and Haul stuff (up to about 2008): http://www.pv.desert4wd.com/
Maybe a few things here still but I haven't updated for a couple years.: http://www.desert4wd.com/
