Hey guys, what are your guy's favorite places to travel to?

Stop by and say Hello.

Me: Hawaii, Death Valley, not necessarily in that order.

My wife: Hawaii, Death Valley, definetely in that order (with about 300 other places in between)

Not much to offer these days since I'm cleaning out the flickr (photo site) because of high pricing.

Your wife sounds a lot like mine! Do any of those "other" 300 places include shopping malls?

Nah, shopping isn't a big thing with my wife. Quiet, desolation is more her style. Which is why I hoped she would like Death Valley. Unfortunately, her other requirement is green, which she doesn't see Death Valley meeting that requirement. Gee, I took her to Darwin Falls - that's green! 8)

Ya, whenever I tell people where I'm headed they always talk about DV as if it's the Sahara. The last time I went we had a guy with us who had never been there. He couldn't believe how many Pinon Pines there are in the higher elevations, but it was all the water that blew him away. I believe he's looking at new JK's now... LOL

We'll be up there either late March or EARLY May for another few days. Can't wait. Maybe we'll convert another intrepid soul.

After that, it's Coyote Flat through Big Pine to Bishop. Haven't figured that trip out yet.

In between the big trips, I go up to the Big Bear, CA area a lot - but nothing compares to the "bigness" of PV.
The question isn't who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me...

I would have to say the Western Desert.

I’ve been a few other places but never like the flying part. Since I work for a major airline the flying part is cheaper than driving. Of course I don’t go on vacation to save $$s. :D

Some people like green, since I grew up in the Redwoods; I’ve got the seen-the-green-thing covered. Lucky for my wife feels the same way. 8)

Many of my co-workers and friends who work for airlines go many neat places, but the fact other people want to go there is a turn-off for me.

I know people who fly out to the islands just for the day, island a bit, have a meal, and fly home while asleep.

Why do I get the feeling that the ‘guest’ who started this is a regular??? :?

Sorry for the highjack, but can I ask which airline? I am on AA about 3 times a month.

You mean like my trip tomorrow to NRT? Out Thursday, back Sunday (had to stay two nights for the cheap fare)
