Re: Hi all

Yes. Pleasant is over grown but that is what a 4x4 is for.. Go out and get some scratches on it. Nothing wrong with using your rig for what it was made for..:mrgreen: The newer upper road up Pleasant is not overgrown - left turn from older road 1/2 mile above Jackpot Canyon turnoff above B...

Re: Hi all

No H3 owners allowed here. You will have to sell it and buy a Jeep in order to fit in. LOL!! Most of they guys I've gone out with have Jeeps and I catch alot of flak usually  You can follow us around in anything that moves under it's own power. Just make sure you have the means to get unst...

Re: Hi all

Chicken rock is not closed to all vehicles. You can still ride Atv's and motor cycles around it and it is BLM property not NPS.
That's exactly what I asked. Is it open to motorcycles and pogo sticks? And Ya I get all you guys mixed up. NPS BLM EFS... it's all the same to me.

Re: Hi all

... and I think you'll find South Park Canyon bridge and chicken rock closed to your vehicle. The bridge and Chicken Rock are closed to ALL vehicular traffic as far as the NPS is concerned. They have a sign up from what I gather. A Hummer would have a lot of fun making it around the rock but if it'...

Re: Newbie saying hi

I don't see any highjacking in this thread... Maybe it needs some bacon... This place is more like campfire talk. The conversation goes where ever it wants to. When it's something important we get the business out of the way first so the poor soul looking for help get's what they need, and then the ...

Howdy Mark.. So that's what happened to you...

What a trade eh? Give up your whole life and all your toys to become a husband, father and provider. Maybe that's why men get so mad when the divorce hits.

Congrats.... :beerchug:

Re: Panamint City Apples

There's a fantastic apple tree at 4100 ft north of Lone Pine at the base of the Inyos. Just south of Reward Mine. Don't know if that means anything but that tree really produces. Green apples that are great in pies.
